Restaurant Team Leader Jobs description
A restaurant team leader job is usually an hourly position where an individual will play a role in overseeing and operating workstations.The job of a restaurant team leader usually requires interested candidates to fulfil the following criteria: must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED; must have one year supervisory experience in a customer service position; must have the ability to speak, read, and write, effectively in English; and must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse groups of people.
As a restaurant team leader, interested candidates can look forward to: being a role model with behavior that motivates and inspires employees; being passionate about providing service to guests and ensuring each experience is of the highest quality; demonstrating a strong awareness and concern for food quality/safety and restaurant cleanliness; enjoying working in a fast-paced, high energy, and team-oriented environment; having to willingly accept and comply with the company grooming and appearance standards; and performing basic administrative duties.
The ideal restaurant team leader will be: a self-motivated individual; an excellent communicator; experienced in large restaurant in buffet and a la carte style service; able to lead a team of colleagues; well organised; willing and able to work a rotating roster and be available to work both morning & nights.
