The Activity Coordination Assistant 2 ensures the day-to-day operations of the Community Center meets participant needs. The Activity Coordination Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

Responsibilities
The Activity Coordination Assistant 2 schedules the Community Center meeting rooms and fitness rooms for pre-programmed classes, activities and/or events. Plans, promotes and coordinates programs to provide members with a variety fitness activities. Responsible for greeting patients, verifying eligibility, reviewing new registrations, and entering new visit information into the computer system. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience customer service or hospitality experience preferrably in healthcare or high-end service business
Intermediate or better experience using Microsoft applications: Outlook Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills to include public speaking and or leading demonstrations at events.
Ability to manage many details related to data entry, scheduling, follow-up requests and file maintenance
Ability to build strong working relationship, internally and externally
Ability to work autonomously.
Strong emotional intelligence
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Bilingual English and Spanish Fluency - Language Proficiency Testing (English/Spanish): Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than Spanish and/or English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government

Hours:
Regular Schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Training will be about 2 weeks in the Winter Haven location below - Schedule will be coordinated with the leader.
Travel:
The department anticipates providing occasional coverage, about 25% annually, at the Winter Haven Center located at 313 Cypress Gardens Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33880
Valid driver license and dependable transportation necessary
Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable automobile
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits.
Preferred Qualifications
Face to face customer service experience
Previous work with vulnerable adults or the geriatric population
Experience in Community health outreach programs
1 or more years of experience performing wellness and recreational activities
Medicare experience

Covid Policy

Interview Format
If you are selected to move forward from your application prescreen, you will receive correspondence inviting you to participate in a pre-recorded Voice Interview and/or an SMS Text Messaging interview. If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should anticipate this interview to take approximately 10-15 minutes.
If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone or computer to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
