Company Profile: A north Brooklyn outdoor space designed for dog boarding and daycare of guest pets as well. They also run playgroups throughout the day for pets to create a stress-reducing program of rest and activity for dogs. We seek to surpass industry standards and exceed our clients' expectations.

Job Description: The Front Desk Customer Service Representative will be responsible for ensuring the health, happiness, and safety of our animal guests as well as all fellow team members. The Front Desk Customer Service Representative interfaces with customers in-person, via phone, and through e-mail in order to deepen our co-care giver relationship. The Front Desk Customer Service Representative is the face of the organization and will maintain positive communication between the staff and clients. The report to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Portraying a positive company image and engaging in professional and friendly.

Actively listening to pet owners and team members' questions and concerns to build a positive work culture of support and team work and open two-way communication, assisting the team to care for the animals to the best of our abilities and our clients to become better educated pet owners.

Proactively engaging in the selling of our services, memberships, and packages.

Communicating our guests' needs through written, posted, and oral instructions.

Creating & maintaining daycare, boarding and scheduled services reservations.

Creating and overseeing client files are kept up-to-date.

Check guests in and out including returning belongings and running charges.

Maintaining all equipment, supplies and a clean work environment ensuring a healthy and safe space for everyone (animals and people alike!).

Following and performing all SOPs.

Maintain our organizational values.

Performing other duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

Ability to shift priorities, deal with a high-stress environment and multi-task.

Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management.

Ability to write, read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals, Slack posts, and End of Day Notes (EOD).

Ability to write fluently and clearly in English.

Must be able to lift 35 pounds.

Weekend and holiday availability are mandator.
