nnnnOverviewnnnnOpportunity:  Aquatics SupervisornSupervise the day-to-day operations of the Aquatics DepartmentnEssential Job FunctionsnnLead by example, have a team mentality nSupervise lifeguard and slide attendant staff and promote a positive work environment.nEnsures all operational and safety procedures are properly followednMaintain order and enforce pool rules in swimming and sauna areas.nRescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid.nClean the pool and sauna regularly of loose debris.nKeep chairs, etc. in order, arranging them neatly within the pool deck area.nReport to management any safety hazardous.nPromote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination within and other departments.nMaintains a working knowledge of Holiday Inn Resort emergency procedures, administers and coordinates emergency first aid as necessary, as well as, documenting incidents involving guests and employees.nPerform other duties as assignednConducts pre-shift meetings.nPerform other duties as assigned.nnPosition RequirementsnnHigh School Diploma preferred or equivalent experience. nMust be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisor and fellow employees in English.nMust be able to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgments regarding the process of inspecting/cleaning guest rooms and supervisory duties.nCurrent Lifeguard Certification including CPR and First Aid required.nnWork Environment and ContextnnFrequently standing up and moving about the pool area. nCarrying or lifting persons from water. nMust be able to lift 50 lbs.nMust be able to work long hours/split shifts and be able to handle stressful conditions.nMust be able to swim 200 continuous yards and retrieve 10 lb. brick from the bottom of 5 1/2 feet and tread water with no hands for 2 minutes.nMay be required to work rotating shifts, night shifts, and/or overtime.
