The Opportunity Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is hiring a Retail Clerk to join our team at Minneapolis Airport in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As a Retail Cashier, you'll be responsible for providing excellent guest service and managing all transactions accurately and efficiency.Position starts at $15.50/hourBENEFITS: Delaware North offers full time employees competitive benefits including health care, paid time off and a 401K. Responsibilities nGreets and acknowledges guests, answers their questions, and assists them whenever possible.nProcesses sale with the appropriate point of sale system accepts payment, counts change, and bags merchandise.nMaintains records related to sales.nRoutinely stocks merchandise and faces items on shelves.nVerifies amount of bank at the beginning and the end of each shift.nMaintains a clean and organized store or stand.nMaintains orderly back-stock and knows where goods are to be found.nCompletes all related close-out paperwork.nPerforms other duties as assigned.nQualifications nPrevious experience in retail or customer service environment preferred.nGood communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and co-workers.nAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.nAbility to work independently and as a team member.nBasic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change.nCapable of following job guidelines and supervisors' instructions.nPhysical Requirements nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.nAbility to stand for the entire length of shift.nAbility to walk up and down stairs frequently.nBending, reaching, climbing on the step stool.nVisual acuity is sufficient to see and distinguish merchandise and operate point-of-sale system.nMajority of time spent in the indoor, climate-controlled environment of retail storenMay also be exposed to a partially sheltered outdoor environment subject to climate fluctuations.nShift Details 2nd ShiftHolidaysWeekendsVariesWho We Are At Delaware North, you’ll love where you work, who you work with, and how your day unfolds.
