We are looking for a positive, service-oriented, energetic and self-motivated Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager works closely with hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and be essential to the hotel's success!  Past hospitality experience is required and ideally a minimum of one year of supervisor experience.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:nAssist in overseeing all departments by taking appropriate action to maintain and exceed brand conditions and standards, service and work practices.nEnsure that goals are being translated to the team as they relate to guest tracking and productivity.nCreate and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service.nUnderstand associate, owner and guest satisfaction results and develops game plans to attack need areas and expand on strengths.nEnsure the team has the capabilities to meet expectations.nLead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.nAssist associates in understanding guests’ ever-changing needs and expectations and exceeding them. Managing Property Operations FunctionsnAbility to effectively manage associates to include supervisory support, improve efficiencies within the department while maintaining financial responsibility to budgeted plan.nMinimum RequirementsnMust be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace (bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred).nRequires good communication skills, both verbal and written.nPrevious hospitality experience required.nKnowledge of operations policies and procedures required.nPossess strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with guest and team members.nAbility to motivate, train and direct others.nMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds periodically on a daily basis.nRequires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.nHigh school or equivalent education required.nFirst Hospitality seeks to attract and retain a high performing and diverse workforce in which employees’ differences are respected and valued to better meet the varying needs of the diverse customers we serve.
