nJob DescriptionnnHilton Grand Vacations is looking for a dedicated detailed Paralegal to work on our dynamic our teamnUnder the general supervision of the Manager, Dispute Resolution, and Vice President, Employment & Litigation, the Paralegal responsibilities includes investigating, evaluating, responding to, and disposing of customer and team member disputes, including and pre-litigation and through litigation stages, and for providing general litigation and legal department support.nDuties and ResponsibilitiesnExercises proper judgment and decision making to analyze the allegations or disputes to resolve proper course of action and to assist in appropriately settling or resolving disputes.nInteracts extensively with various regulatory agencies and internal business clients, including Human Resources and Risk Management.nPrepares formal responses to state and federal agency complaints, including but not limited to Better Business Bureau, Attorney General Offices, and Department of Real Estate Division.nReply to responses to correspondence received from members' attorneys and any law firms.nHandle and process legal and regulatory disputes and related matters, including onboarding, reviewing, and responding, as needed.nLead a docket of litigation and arbitration matters under attorney guidance.nIdentifies, strategizes, and responds to a broad range of issues related to the business and operations of the Company.nAble to clearly communicate concise action plans, and present plans for moving a dispute to conclusion.nProcesses disputes consistent with the Company’s corporate policies, procedures and standard methodologies and also in accordance with any statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements.nCollaborates to maintain an effective team-oriented working relationship with colleagues within the Legal department and in other disciplines within the Company.nAbility to think critically, solve problems, plan and organize activitiesnServe business clients, negotiate, effectively communicate verbally and in writing.nKnowledge of court and alternative dispute resolution proceduresnGeneral knowledge of employment and consumer protection laws preferred!nMust be able to handle demanding caseload and work with team members with demanding caseloads with attention to details.nPerforms other duties and collaborate with legal team members and business clients as assigned or needed!nnnnQualificationsnnWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
