Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.nnnnnResponsibilitiesnnnnProvide genuine, personalized service in accordance with LHW and Hotel Granduca standardsnGreet and seat guests, provide menus, take orders, including special requests and needsnServe food & drink in a timely and cordial manner nMaintain knowledge of menu items, beverage and special offersnOperate POS system with accuracy nAdhere to the Cash Handling Policy and ensure proper handling of credit card transactionsnAssist with other F&B dutiesnMaintain a secure and accurate cash drawer nAdhere to department SOP's, and Sanitation, OSHA regulationsnPractice the hotel's Core Values and 3 Steps of ServicenAdhere to the Standards of Appearance, attendance, hotel and handbook policiesnDemonstrate excellent work ethics and respect towards co-workers and guestsnMaintain visibility to guests and be ready to assist guestsnAssist with hosting and bussing duties if necessarynEnsure area is clean and sanitary and all condiments are adequately stockednComplete required sidework and checklistsnPromote and upsell food, special offers and beverage itemsnMaintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities and local points of interestnDemonstrate a professional, friendly and cordial demeanornAssist with cleaning, sanitizing and adhere to COVID protocolnPerform other duties as assignednnnnnQualificationsnnnnMinimum high school diploma or equivalentnAt least 2 years' server experience in a fine dining restaurant or a full service luxury hotel nValid Texas Food Handler’s and TABC Certificate nKnowledge of wines and liquors and wine-pairingnExcellent interpersonal skills, email and telephone etiquette, attention to detailnProfessional and courteous demeanornExcellent work ethics and dependabilitynAbility to stand and walk for long periods, use both hands, see, smell, touch,hear, speaknAbility to reach, bend, sit, crouch, kneel, push, pull, carry at least 30 lbsnAbility to multi-task and effectively manage time nMust be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcoholnExcellent communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsnExcellent command of English.
