Kitchen Supervisor Job Description includes:nEnsure the kitchen department runs smoothly and complies with safety regulationsnWork directly with suppliers, purveyors and representatives to make sure orders are placed when necessary so there is no interruption in food servicennPerform basic repairs as needed to the kitchen equipment or seek the help of a maintenance person who can perform repairs  nnnManage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen nnDevelop and cross train all team members     nnAssign daily work stations and manage breaks  nnEnsure cleanlinessnReceive all orders to ensure items are in order and properly stored in dry storage, walk in, freezer – ensuring proper rotation as well – keeping kitchen and all storage areas clean and organizednCommunicate regularly with FOH staff regarding service, menu details, special requests, customer needs, etc.nnWork as the liaison  between Front of House and Back of House nProvide excellent customer service to guests by checking in with their table to ensure they are satisfied with their meal and servicenEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
