You would be responsible for the successful execution of written sales agreements for complex, full-service social events and meetings. Our food and beverage options are magnificent, multi-sensory experiences with a Michelin-starred chef as an integral part of our Team.REQUIREMENTS:2 years of event management experience in full-service environment Flexible scheduleASSETS:Hilton experienceDelphi/FDC ExperienceStrong Culinary backgroundHotel opening/taskforce type experienceWhat will I be doing?Communicate clearly between customers and the hotel by directing each department within the hotel as to their specific role in the pre-planning and execution of on-site events. Maximize revenue and control expenses through effective negotiation of services and accurate forecasting. Responsible for successful execution of all meetings and events to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.Essential Job Functions:nPrepare reports, correspondence, and analysis relative to Event activity such as call reports, forecasts, menu proposals, customer correspondence, banquet event orders, resumes, post event reports, and internal memos or communications.nDirect guestroom, meeting, and event logistics to respective departments and team members. nManage customer relationships in a proactive manner relative to pricing, payment structure, room block, food and beverage requirements, public room rental and exhibit hall fees, incremental and affiliate revenue streams, performance damages and master billing process. nAnalyze and plan for customers’ service and product needs relative to the financial and operational needs requirements of the property. nAuthorize appropriate resolution of customers’ concerns while maintaining profitability. nDirect and assist with customer services via site visits, board meetings, menu tastings, and planning meetings for definite and potential groups. nSupports the Departmental Leaders with daily operations such as customer conflict resolution and interaction with Sales Team and others.nGenerate accurate reports, monthly forecast, and menus.nParticipate in internal and external training and industry events, customer focused events, Front Line Leadership, CPR, etc. nParticipate in development and measurement of personal and team goals and action plans. nSupportive Functions:Communicate clearly and accurately (verbally or non-verbally) in a pleasant manner.Show competence by completing job responsibilities effectively and efficiently.Demonstrate an ability to follow a prescribed sequence of service with each encounter.Take initiative, be willing to assume responsibility for exceeding guests’ expectations.n RequirementsWhat are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
