Job Details
Successful operations manager will:
Create and manage the maintenance process to keep uptime of machinery, safety of machinery, resale value, and operator comfort high.
Lead, manage, and hold accountable a staff of 30-50 including PM s, Foremen, Crews, Operators, Laborers, Mechanics, and Truck Drivers. Set and maintain operations meeting rhythms.
Manage the company project schedule. 30-50 projects per year. Allocate resources of manpower, equipment, and materials at the right time to maximize efficiency. Communicate schedule to estimating to help fill busy or slow times. Scheduling is the number one responsibility of this role.
Hire, train, and structure ops personnel to meet the demands of a growing company. Build good crews and teams. Understanding and working with varied personalities to make good crews.
Manage the trucking process to ensure our equipment and material mobilizations are timely, effective, safe, and in compliance with DOT regulations
