The Opportunity The Manager, Enterprise Communications will be responsible for the development and implementation of Delaware North’s internal communication strategies and initiatives, worldwide. Duties include identifying industry and introducing best-practices for internal communications and employee engagement, developing approaches to improve two-way communications and ensuring an outstanding employee experience. The Manager will be a key member of the enterprise communications team, contributing to building and sustaining a best-in-class communications function in support of Delaware North’s business goals, and may also provide support to other communications programs as needed, including media relations, issues management, and brand reputation programs.At Delaware North, we care about our associates. Click here to learn more.Responsibilities nDevelops and drives enterprise internal communications strategy to introduce and sustain superior employee engagement and position Delaware North as an employer of choice.nCreates and implements enterprise internal communications programs and initiatives to support effective engagement and improve the associate experience.nSupports internal communications programs across business subsidiaries and units.nEngages as a senior member of the enterprise communication function to strengthen the contribution of communications to the business.nSupports other communications projects as needed, including media relations, issues management, corporate initiatives, executive communications and signature programs.nActs as primary internal communications strategist.nDevelops and executes internal communications strategies and programsnQualifications nBachelor's degreenMinimum 6 years of related communications experience. Restaurant, catering or hospitality industry experience preferred but not required. nExcellent writing skills and strong verbal communication and presentation skills.nThorough understanding of corporate communications and brand marketing principles and practices.nFamiliarity and understanding of internal communications and employee engagement strategies and approaches.nDemonstrated ability to strategically plan communications initiatives, including objectives and tactics that are tied directly to measurable results.nProactive and reactive media relations expertise.nTrack record of thoughtful, creative, and successful development and implementation of corporate communications campaigns and initiatives.nStoryteller with ability to develop cohesive and targeted messaging and materials.nAbility to work under pressure.
