DescriptionThe Network Engineer is responsible for daily maintenance and support of PCCH’s IT Network infrastructure. As well as developing and implementing new Network segments and keeping PCCH’s Network secure and up-to-date with Industry Standards. This individual assists in ensuring system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational value. Provides excellent service to guests, vendors and Team Members.Main DutiesnManage, maintain, and troubleshoot, Cisco network infrastructure in an aggressive, latency-sensitive environment.nManaging and maintaining policy-based firewalls such as Cisco.nProgram routers, switches, and other network hardware.nMaintain Network documentation and mapping.nDesign and implement best practice network strategies to interface software and hardware with all needed departments.nEnsures proper licensing and adequate support for all network systems.nAssists with implementation of all software to meet the needs of the Casino while ensuring network security is not compromisednEvaluates and modifies network configuration and security, application usefulness, upgrades and improvements.nParticipates in special projects and all other duties as requested by the IT Director.nRequirementsnBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred; a minimum of five years verifiable experience is required.nCurrent Certification in at least one CCNP (Cisco Certified network Professional), CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), and/or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).nComprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF and EIGRPnIn-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routersnA minimum of one year verifiable departmental budgeting experience is preferred.nAbility to uphold complete confidentiality is required.nAbility to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.nAdditional InformationRelocation Package (will be discussed)Excellent Benefits Package Includes:nNo weekly contribution for yourself or children for Health, Dental, Vision, and Pharmacy insurance. $25 weekly contribution for having spouse on plan.nLife Insurance, 4 times Annual Salary with a max of $250,000. nPaid Personal Leaven401knAll applicants must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
