Works hands-on with the sales teams by attending site visits, visiting local clients and event planners.nEnsure effective utilization of selling guidelines to maximize revenue contribution from all segments, employing cross-segment selling strategies when needed.nSupervise client contract process including negotiation, provisions, supplemental solution selling, and contract generation, capturing all information necessary for execution and billing.nEngage in purposeful communication and build long-lasting rapport with clients, creating an open dialogue to uncover client expectations and unrealized needs.nEffectively communicate with hotel departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client expectations, fulfillment of needs, and challenge resolution.nAlways maintain professionalism consistent with hotel brand and company expectations.nWork with property teams and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. regional teams to assure there is clear communication and expectations.nSuccess factors…Experience & Education: n7 years of Sales experience, preferably in both full and select service – working with major brands such as Hilton, Hyatt & Marriottn3 Years of Experience in a Direct Leadership role n4-year degree in hospitality management or sales preferred, or equivalent experience and educationnAbility to analyze property staffing deployment and effectivenessnAbility to creatively source and recruit talent in primary, secondary, and tertiary marketsnExperience with third-party meeting planner resourcesnExperience with major sales systems such as Delphi & CI/TYnKnowledge, experience, and ability to evaluate the effectiveness of sales expenses such as industry tradeshows, advertising, and third-party data.nCommunication:nExceptional verbal and written communication skills, including electronic communicationnMust be able to speak, read, and write in the primary language used in the workplacenPhysical:nMust be able to travel 75% of the time.
