The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Data Steward/Business Intelligence Engineer 2
Oversees and manages the integration and consolidation of clinical data from existing systems to new systems for Health Service Organization (HSO).
Understand data sources, data structure and data capture and reporting systems for HSO.
Develop data mapping, integration and consolidation approach, methodology and tools.
Implement data mapping, integration and consolidation.
Validate and maintain Clinical data quality in the mapping, integration and consolidation process.
Collaborate with Stakeholders to understand the enterprise risk framework (risk principles, risk standards, etc.) and to ensure that the consolidated risk data from the investment boutiques are consistent with that framework
Required Qualifications
The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present the organization's raw data as it relates to our providers, in order to create insightful and actionable business information across the enterprise.
Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Function as a Data Steward, provide oversight for the use, management, and integrity of the clinical data across the Health Service Organization (HSO).
The function will be responsible for governance and oversight of HSOs data in order to improve and maintain the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the data.
The Data Steward will work closely with business stakeholders, clinical operations and data custodians in the HSO to ensure that data governance processes are followed and documented for their respective subject-areas and domains. As such, the right resource will have experience acting as a point of accountability for data content and quality that is consumed, processed and distributed.
The candidate will provide oversight of the change management processes for data models and data distribution channels. The candidate will have experience with products that support the governance process e.g. data dictionaries, logical, data tracing and governance workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau and QlikView for creating data visualizations
Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling
Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors
Experience in writing detailed requirements
