Routtie's BBQ is a new to Steamboat this summer season and we are in need of an experienced Assistant Manager that can help make it a success! Lead a team that provides exceptional guest experiences in unique on-mountain locations this winter! Resume and cover letter required.
Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:
Assist Location manager with supervision of Food Court staff
Be accountable for labor and cost of goods.
Assist with monthly inventory
Assist employees with overall food preparation and customer service
Provide on the job training
Assist with management of daily operation of the building
Perform scheduling duties and guest relations
Oversee building safety issues, ie: Food safety program, snow clearing, hazmat, repairs and maintenance
Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements as well as all Covid processes and procedures
Other duties, as assigned
Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:
High School Diploma or GED
Two years fast food restaurant experience in a supervisory role, preferred
Must possess good organizational, interpersonal problem-solving leadership and team building skills
Adhere to all safety policies, willing to learn and uphold all Covid regulations and processes
Operating a vehicle (both Snowmobile and Ranger) is an essential function of this position and will require the successful applicant to meet the minimum requirements of the Alterra Drivers Standards Policy that includes possessing a valid Driver's License and meet insurability standards.
Problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers.
Be a consistent role model for companys Service Excellence standards
Physical Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
Stand for long periods of time and climb stairs frequently, maneuver safely in outdoor settings
Ski/snowboard at an intermediate level to/from restaurant, often in inclement weather
Operate snow blower, snowmobile, 4 wheel plow, Ranger and shovel snow
