Beach Attendant Responsibilities:nCreate and organize social and sports activities, crafts, and other activities for children/familiesnWelcome guests to the pool or beach and consistently offer professional, friendly, engaging servicenAssist guests with lounge chairs, umbrellas, beds, and/or cabanas around pool or beachnEncourage guests to participate in appropriate activities (i.e. volleyball, water activities, swimming, etc.)nSet up and breakdown beach chairs and umbrellas or pool equipment dailynProperly store equipment when not in usenFold towels in morning and set up towel/water stationnResponsible for general cleanliness and upkeep of the pool or beach areanWill report to the Recreation SupervisornOther duties as assignednFollow company policies and proceduresnPool/Beach Attendant Skills Required:nPrevious experience in customer service preferrednMust be approachable and have motivational skills for associates, guests, parents, and kid's club participantsnTake proactive approaches when dealing with associate or guest concernsnMust be responsible, creative, have great energy, and possess problem solving skillsnHighly responsible and reliablenAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentnAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamnEnjoy dealing with the public in an available and approachable manner.
