nnnnOverviewnnnnOpportunity:  Bell CaptainnSupervise bellpersons, doorpersons and drivers as well as perform the daily responsibilities of these positions in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.nPotential Career PathnConcierge/Front Office Manager­– AGM – General ManagernEssential Job FunctionsnnInterview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values. nEvaluate the staffing requirements and prepare work schedules weekly, adhering to budget goals and ensuring sufficient staffing to meet daily business demands.nMaintain security of and accurate records for all guest room keys issued to bell and door staff.nAccommodate guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner.nCoordinate group luggage requirements.nMonitor and maintain cleanliness and working condition of departmental equipment/supplies.nEnsure that pertinent information is documented in the log book daily.nLoad and unload luggage carts.nTag and store luggage.nEscort guests to hotel rooms.nProvide an overview of guest room, hotel services and amenities. nMake deliveries to guest rooms.nAssist guest with room changes.nMaintain list/brochures of local attractions, transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc.nBe aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. nFollow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.nPractice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.nEnsure overall guest satisfaction.nPerform other duties as requested by management.nnPosition RequirementsnnHigh School diploma preferred.nPrevious experience working in a related function in a hotel required.nnWork Environment and ContextnnWork schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.nRequires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching.nnWhat We BelievenPeople Are Our Capability – Hearts That Serve – Only Excellence – Stay Nimble - Own ItnnnnnAbout Us nnnnEnjoy the only All-Suite Holiday Inn Resort in Orlando, Florida at the entrance to the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort where Kids 11 and under eat free for breakfast and dinner!
