nnnnOverviewnnnnOpportunity:  Housekeeping SupervisornSupervise housekeeping staff ensuring brand/hotel guest service and sustainability standards are met.nPotential Career PathnExecutive Housekeeper – Front Office Manager – Assistant General Manager – General ManagernEssential Job FunctionsnnTrain, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values. nScreen job applicants, and hire new employees (in the event housekeeping associates are HHM employees.)nTrain staff to clean rooms in an efficient manner according to established standards or partner with external vendor to ensure staff is trained properly.nBe aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction. nIssue cleaning supplies and equipment to associates.nOn occasion, clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms. nAddress associate performance and behavior concerns by either direct intervention with HHM associates or through vendor. nSupervise laundry employees, if applicable.nPrepare work schedules for HHM associates or provide vendor with anticipated occupancy to ensure proper staffing levels.nFollow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.nPractice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.nPractice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.nAssist in the breakfast area as needed.nEnsure overall guest satisfaction.nPerform other duties as requested by management.nnPosition Requirements nnHigh School diploma preferred.nPrevious housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.nPrevious supervisory responsibility preferred.nnWork Environment and ContextnnWork schedule varies and may include working on holidays, and weekends.nRequires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, kneeling, bending. nnWhat We BelievenPeople Are Our Capability – Hearts That Serve – Only Excellence – Stay Nimble - Own ItnnnnnAbout Us nnnLocated near Sacramento's Land Park neighborhood, our upscale hotel is 2.6 miles from the Sacramento Executive Airport and 11 miles from the Sacramento International Airport, offering an ideal location with serene surroundings.
