Qualification:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Several years of commercial cooking experience (2 3 years) or, completion of college or other program in cooking is required.
- Ability to prepare traditional & fusion Japanese cuisine (sushi, sashimi, rolls and as well as hot foods) is a definite asset.
- Proficient in English is required.
Main duties:
- Plan, prepare and cook various Japanese menus (Sushi, Sashimi, Rolls and etc.), Determine size of food portions, Oversee kitchen operation, Clean kitchen and work area, and supervise and train helpers in culinary preparation techniques used.
Wage & Benefits:
$20 $23 per hour (depends on skill and experience), 4% vacation fee of gross salary or 10 days paid vacation, gratuities and free meals
Working hours:
8 hours per day and 40 hours per week (permanent & full-time position)
