Summary of Position:The Busperson is responsible for clearing and resetting tables, stocking and replenishing service stations as well as assisting service staff in serving of guests to ensure total guest satisfaction.Essential Functions:nBring initial water, chips, salsa and hot sauce to guests.nRapidly clean tables and reset for next seating.nSet up restaurant and service stations according to particular shifts.nAssist with food servers in clearing plates, refilling beverages and table maintenance.nKeep service station will stocked for own shift and for fellow staff.nCooperate with hostess in arranging for reservations and accommodate guests that are waiting for a table.nClean up and put away all equipment in the service stations.nOther supportive functions as determined by the supervisor. nQualifications:Education: N/A Experience: Prior hospitality experience preferred. Certificates or Licenses: Maricopa County Food Service Worker cardKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:nKnowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items.nAbility to listen well and develop a good rapport with food servers.nAbility to move through a crowded dining room with large trays.nAbility to memorize and perform Resort Standards, AAA Diamond standards, and Mystery shopper standards.nPersonal Characteristics:nBehaves ethically.nCommunicates effectively: Speaks and listens in a clear, thorough, and timely manner, effectively reading and writing, using the English language to communicate with other employees and guests.nProfessional Appearance: Exhibits an appearance appropriate for a four diamond resort (Specific grooming standards are available for review).n Source: Hospitality Online,
